Ending Hate Crime

Daniel Dromm will work tirelessly to eliminate prejudice, violence and injustice at the local level as your city council representative. There has been a disturbing increase in hate crimes in our city during the past few years. He will work with the Department of Education to require let lessons about tolerance and diversity occur in every classroom.

Establishing Marriage Equality

As part of lifelong pursuit of justice and equality, Daniel Dromm believes in creating a world that respects and celebrates the diversity of human expression and identity where all people may fully participate in society. As your city council representative, Dromm will support state-wide legislation that establishes the right of all persons to enter into a gender-neutral civil marriage with all the benefits and obligations that entails. Committed same-sex couples need access to the over 1000+ rights and responsibilities that marriage provides including hospital visitation, health insurance, estate tax, immigration, social security and co-parenting rights.

Strengthening Anti-Discrimination Laws

Throughout his life, Daniel Dromm has been a leader in fighting for civil rights for all people. As a city council representative, he will advocate for stronger legislation to protect any individual who is discriminated against in matters of employment, housing, and public accommodations.
